Margo Haines

Principal

Margo is dedicated to creating unique interiors which evoke a lifestyle and atmosphere of simple elegance and informality.  She takes inspiration from all aspects of culture and life and has an ability to identify an emerging trend in music, fashion or art. Long before it becomes a feature trend in design magazines, she has provided a fresh interpretation and integrated it into her interiors.

Margo believes your home should make you happy and her approach to design is driven by her belief that the objective is more than a beautiful home, it is better living.  This influences how she integrates her client’s interests and passions into a statement home consistent with their lifestyle and reflective of their personality.  A key hallmark of Margo’s work is the unique, one of a kind, found objects she likes to introduce to her interiors to create spaces that don’t take themselves too seriously.

Margo’s design influences include the aesthetic called Desert Modernism, most prevalent in Palm Springs, California and the youthful, playful and imaginative approach to design which emerged in the 1970’s. Jonathan Adler, Tory Burch and Kelly Wearstler are brands Margo currently admires.

Margo’s experience encompasses both commercial and residential projects including homes, lofts, vacation properties, a condominium lobby and restaurant.  She has worked directly in partnership with architects, developers and contractors on both speculative and custom builds. She also has the Style at Home Magazine 1999 Design of Winner of the Year under her belt. References available upon request.
